The most important and most popular postgraduate course in management and business today is the MBA (Master of Business Administration) program. In the US, it has a hundred-year tradition, in Europe fifty-year-old. Its aim is to prepare graduates of various types of universities for managerial and entrepreneurial activity. This program is designed for graduates of bachelor or master’s (engineering studies). On the one hand, faculties of economics and non-economic higher education institutions.
The program at our faculty was modified by Winthrop University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has seen a number of updated changes.
The course has 450 hours of direct instruction, 450 hours. self-study and seminar work and final diploma thesis. The study takes 2 years. Teaching is performed from 17.00 to 20.00 two days a week (Monday to Thursday). This is a full-time study, but most students, of course, work.
The lessons take place in the center of Prague, at the exit from the metro station Karlovo nám.
Profile subjects: world economy, global problems of the world, management economics, marketing, current trends in management, financial management, project management, how to set up a company, competitive strategy, strategic management, information management, business negotiations and communication skills, legal issues and taxes,
business case management, international finance, business and labor law, and international business relationships.
The faculty consists of university professors and associate professors as well as industry and financial experts and researchers with experience in preparing and further enhancing the qualifications of managers. The course uses modern didactic methods and techniques – special tests, case studies, simulations and games.
The admission procedure takes the form of an informative meeting of the applicants with the school management. Students will present a university degree (college graduation certificate) and an identity card during their interviews. . The applicants will be invited by e-mail to the interviews on the basis of the application form, which is available on our website and which must be sent by e-mail to the address of the school. Applications are accepted continuously until October 2018. Teaching will begin in October 2018.
The MBA program is accredited by the Czech Association of CAMBAS MBAs.
